Load safely - avoid damage<\/strong><\/h3>

According to an estimate by the German Insurance Association (GDV), in around 70 per cent of all journeys on public roads in Germany, the goods being transported are not secured or are inadequately secured.<\/p>

This is an alarming figure, as every motorist is aware of the breaking news on the radio warning of lost loads on the road. Television and the press therefore report with sad regularity on serious accidents caused by inadequately secured loads, which produce a great deal of personal suffering for those affected and immense economic damage.<\/p>

The reason why unsecured cargo can become a hazard is simple:
Every type of cargo - whether light or heavy - is exposed to the same forces during transport, forces that should not be underestimated.<\/p>

These forces are responsible for the fact that even in everyday driving situations, such as when braking or during an evasive manoeuvre, the load can start to slide or fall off the loading area. And this happens just as quickly and abruptly with a twenty-kilo load as with a twenty-tonne load!<\/p>

Therefore: The load must be correctly secured at the beginning of the transport process to protect the lives of the vehicle occupants and all other road users.<\/p>

The ISM certificate course \"Fundamentals of Load Securing\" is aimed at all those involved in logistics and the transport of goods. It covers all important areas of the topic, such as legal basics, physical basics, requirements for the transport vehicle, load securing procedures, required securing forces, load unit formation.
It combines basic and in-depth theoretical content with extensive training in practice; all this in accordance with the corresponding VDI guideline 2700.<\/p>

Duration<\/h1>

Compact course:<\/strong>1 day, from 09:00 to approx. 17:00 . Suitable for employees who are entrusted with direct loading work on a daily basis and would like to acquire the necessary basic knowledge for their daily work.<\/p>

Intensive course:<\/strong>2 days, each from 09:00 hrs to approx. 17:00 hrs . Suitable for employees who are responsible for load securing in their daily work and want to be well prepared for their job.<\/p>
